It's a wonderful thing, Kate.
Moreso than anything, though, Massachusetts should be showing highly social conservatives that "God's Wrath" isn't being inflicted upon us for this "violation of moral sanctity."

Well, you know they'll blame next year's Nor'easter on Mass.

Gay rights supporters pray at Capitol

http://www.kare11.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=121419

Opponents of a constitutional ban on gay marriage were out in force at the Capitol Thursday.

A large crowd of gay people, their families, supporters and dozens of priests and pastors packed a prayer rally in the Capitol Rotunda. Their message was that supporters of the proposed gay marriage ban don't have a monopoly on religion.

The rally follows a similar event by supporters of a gay marriage ban earlier in the week.

The Reverend Paul Tiedeman of the St. Paul Reformation Lutheran Church told those gathered that he and his wife have been married for decades, with children and grandchildren. He says it's ridiculous to think his marriage is threatened by, quote, "your loving relationships."

Several speakers at the event said they don't think Minnesota is a state where people support denying the rights of some in the state Constitution.

"The Reverend Paul Tiedeman of the St. Paul Reformation Lutheran Church"

I'd like to donate some money to a charity of this man's choice.

Windy- that article is even better than the one I posted! HUZZAH!! Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for ALL people, not just those the religious right finds deserving. ALL men are created equal means that we are ALL deserving of the same rights, freedoms and protections!!!

*Jumps off her soapbox*

And that's what I have to say about that.
