Something weird you do...

So lets hear some weird things that ya do... things other people might not do.

I got this idea from the zit thread actually, lol. So, for example, say someone he pops their zits with a fork or something (no idea how that would work, but just making **** up lol), that'd be something weird. I'm not talking weird, special talents like I can put my legs behind my head or touch my tongue to my nose, so ya all know.

So anyway, lets hear some weird stuff.

I eat my french fries with mayo, and my grilled cheese with ketchup.

I try to avoid cracks in the sidewalk or street because it feels wierd under my feet when I step on one. I'm not like Jack Nicholson in "As Good As It Gets" bad, but it's a little ocd.

Hm...I guess this is kinda strange (it's food-related). I don't like tomato skin, so if I eat a slice of raw tomato on a sandwich or something I have to peel off the skin first.
I also pick my cuticles constantly; they're always bleeding. Is that weird?

It probably IS wierd, lol but I pick my cuticles as well. Then again I'm a terrible nail-biter (especially if I'm bored or nervous). My fingers are a mess. :[

yea you guys have the right idea... here's mine

When I have a sore throat, I like brushing the waaay waaay back of my tongue makes it feel better, like even when I have that gag reflex feeling, in my mind it feels better lol. Me and my friend actually used to agree like when I was 12 or so that when you get that strep throat thing done (q tip down ya throat) it makes it feel better... in his words (what i remember) it was like "scraping off the sore throat". So it's just a mental thing I get now. So I feel better when I brush the way back of tongue if my throat feels funny. Plus it makes whole mouth feel cleaner anyway.

I do other weird stuff too for sure, just gotta think a bit...

I have the bad habit of biting my lip and peeling away the top layer of skin.

And I shower at night, rather than in the morning.

I won't drink soda unless I have a straw.

AND, I think that sniffling sound people make when they breath in with a stuffy nose is gross, so when I have a cold and have to do it, I always apologize to whoever has to hear it.

I don't drink soda unless it's in a glass with ice; but if I'm desperate, and there is no ice, I can only drink it from a plastic bottle (not a can).

When I'm sick or tired or cold, I love to rub a fleece blanket (or anything soft) along my upper lip (underneath my nose). I've been told I've done that since I was a baby.

I try not to step on cracks because if I step on one with one foot, then I have to step on another one with the other foot, so that they're even (my two feet). I'm not gonna lie, it's *really* OCD. Pelt me with hard-boiled eggs and call me a freak.

That reminds me...

I usually try to take like 1 step inbetween each crack (depending on the type of sidewalk) Or like 2 in one, than 1 in the next, 2 in one, one in the next, so it works out evenly lol. It's more something I do when I'm walking somewhere by myself though...

I never knew showering at night was considered weird. Personally, I like feeling all clean right before I go to bed - I don't know, some kind of OCD fear of sleeping/rolling around in all the dirt I accumulated that day

when i'm at home, talking to my man, i sometimes talk in a funny high-pitched character voice. away from home sometimes it slips out and people think i'm REALLY weird. of course my man thinks it's perfectly normal

I am very paticular about pens. I have two Mont Blancs. I do not take them out of the office. Otherwise I use Vision Elite.

I sleep with my head under my pillow.
When ordering CHinese instead of Chicken and Brocoolli, I get Chicken and Carrots.

I know I do toher things, but I can't pick them out. It's just the type of thing where someone will turn around be like, "That's so weird!" I am definitely and oddling, though. Oy.

Well, I'm glad he got away with it.

*I tend to draw most of my 'erotic' drawings during orchestra breaks.

*I like tearing up my split ends.

*I sometimes use either my pocket knife or a file to clean my nails.

I eat curly fries with mayo and ketchup, but only if they're the spicy kind of curly fries.

I cannot, under any circumstance, eat a bagle with cream cheese as two halves. I have to eat it as a whole; sandwich style (and prefferably, it's an egg bagle with plain cream cheese and sliced tomato)

If my nailpolish starts to chip or peel and Im nowhere near nailpolish remover I have to pick it all off. Unless it's a neutral color -- then it can wait. But I hate seeing my nails looking like that.

When I eat eggs over easy I have to eat the yolks first, with buttered toast, before I eat the white of the egg.

I won't eat cold chocolate chip cookies.... even if they're just chips ahoy, I have to warm em up.

Ooooh the list goes on. Arent you sorry I responded? lol

JayKid- I used to have to walk that way, but I slowly broke my habit. I didn't even consciencely break it, it just slowly undid itself.

I take off the tomato peels too but that is b/c when I was kid I wore braces and the peel would get stuck in the ... well you know.

As I'm sure several ppl can attest, I don't do anything weird. I am a completely unweird, perfectly normal person.

The weirdest thing I do is post on this board - and actually care about it. But apparently I'm not alone. I still think it's weird.

And just for the record, I deserve a medal - or at least a 'thank you' - for not taking the following excerpt and running like the bulls with it:
