I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I was Oscar-nominated by the age of 17. Really.

At my high school, all the "best dressed," "best hair," "most likely to succeed" et al awards were given out at a dance called "Night At The Oscars." And the awards were called Oscars. So there.

If they gave out awards for gayest, I would have won, not just been nominated.

It was for "most likely to succeed." But alas, I came in second. Just like my later role as slutatorian.

growing up, in my mind, 32 was the magic age that i would find love, own my own home, have a fulfilling career & never go hungry again.

next week i turn 37 & none of that has ever happened, or is ever likely to.
