I'm organizing a tribute concert for the induction of actor Andy Garcia, Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos, baseball great Andre Dawson, Senator Bob Graham, four astronauts, and others into the Miami-Dade (Fla.) school district's alumni hall of fame. The event will be in the style of Kennedy Center Honors, with appropriate songs (already selected) for each inductee.
I'm looking for the right finale, something inspiring, ideally about children, starting with an adult solo voice and ending big with a chorus of children/teens. Some candidates: "God Bless the Child" and "No One is Alone/Children Will Listen." Would appreciate suggestions, from musical theater or beyond. Many thanks!
