My dad asked me to he him pick a song for his dance with my sister at her wedding. They both love musicals, does anyone have any suggestions?

If you completely remove the context, what Tevye sings during Chava's Ballet could work. Again, if you completely forget that he just disowned her.

In my family, we use Jerry Herman's "Loving You" from Paige O'Hara's Jerry Herman album. She sings it with her husband, Michael Piontek.

The song itself is a little sentimental for my taste, but they sing it well and are longtime friends of the family, so it's become a tradition.

If you're a little ambitious the first thing that came to mind with father daughter stuff was A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Might too sentimental, but you could put together a nice medley from that score.
