Hello! I'm looking for audition songs for drama school. I have a few ideas but I'd really like to find some more. I need something which isn't overdone, that'll make me stand out, that's good for acting and from a musical. Any ideas? Thank you! xx

Take a look at Mama Who Bore Me from Spring Awakening, Mixed Tape from Avenue Q, I'm Not Afraid of Anything from Songs for a New World. Dogfight, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Matilda, Next to Normal, and Violet all have a few songs that could work. If you're in/near Connecticut this is a great audition prep program PLUS you get to work with Brent Wagner, head of the musical theater department for University of Michigan. Michigan is one of the best musical theater schools in the country! http://www.goodspeed.org/pages/audition-master-class
