That was a hillarious scene though. Hal Sparks and Tobey together are great any day.
no offense to anyone loving the film, but that was part of the problem: if Amneris' theory is right, and that was an improvised scene they left in, who should have been coming up with the comic riffs? Tobey or Hal? and who should have been (pardon the expression) the "straight man"? but it was entirely reversed.
It wasn't an improv. It is in the Spider-Man 2 novel which was written before they started filming.
Fair enough. But i still maintain Hal Sparks could improv better dialog about meeting Spiderman in an elevator. That's the kind of "spark" (so to speak) that would make the film more accessible for viewers not enamored of the Spidey mythos. The SHREK films are about a comic-book/real world too, with lots of cliches, but they are a LOT funnier without losing any of the humanity of the characters.
I understand. I love Hal Sparks

The guy in the elevator was Hal Sparks. He was on Talk Soup, but currently stars in Queer as Folk. Funny guy.
JohnPopa- I wouldn't really consider any of the things that you mentioned flaw. I was talking about the main parts of the movie (cast, action, writing, storyline). It's pointless to talk about it when you begin to nitpick, however.
