Spider-Man 3 Update

I am so excited to report this to the Spider-Man fans out there
(or am I the only one?). Spider-Man is wearing . . . THE BLACK SUIT. That means that the beginnings of Venom is going to be played out in this movie. I am about to jump out of my seat, I am so excited. I have already posted the picture, but here is the link where you can see the daily bugle cover.
CAN NOT wait to see this movie!!

While I love X-Men, and I can't wait until it comes out . . . nothing will make me less anticipated for this movie. And Mary Jane is not going to be Peter's love interest? Hmmmm, interesting.

Kind of a blah picture to whet our appetites with…it really does just look like a black and white photo of the regular costume.

If the marketing people realized this (“You may think you’re looking at a black and white photo…”), why not throw some color in the picture to offset the black costume?

I can't wait for Spidey 3! Hopefully, if it's anything like Spidey 2, it'll be great. The sequel was incredible.

Well, it is just a first look. I am sure that the costume will look a lot better on the big screen. And the sequel was one of the greatest comic movies ever!!!

I really wish they would have casted someone . . . well . . . talented in the role as Mary Jane. All she can do is scream and cry on cue. She is the worst part of the whole movie franchise. Sadly, this will be Tobey and possibly Sam's last Spider-Man movie. Kirsten is leaving as well (good riddance). Mary Jane better not die. They get married and have a daughter who becomes Spider-Girl. Anyone smell a movie spin-off?

I cannot wait for this! I enjoyed Spiderman 2 better than the first movie. I usually hate action movies, but I liked the romantic stuff played into it!

I love Mary Jane as a character. I read there is a lot of Mary Jane hate and I never got it. I hope they don't kill Mary Jane off in Spiderman 3, and I really doubt they will. However, I don't understand how Gwen Stacy ends up in the Spiderman 3 (last time I checked she was going to be in it) when the ending of Spiderman 2 made it seem that Mary Jane and Peter came to terms with each other. I know Mary Jane and Peter will have problems because of his super hero alter ego, but I really thought they were setting it up to have Peter and Mary Jane make it in the long haul with them making such a big deal about their romance. I guess killing Mary Jane off would solve that problem.

BTW, I always thought Gwen Stacy should've been Peter's love interest in the first movie and have the movie end with Peter trying to save both but failing to save Gwen when the Green Goblin made him choose between the two hostages in the end of the first movie (isn't that how Gwen Stacy died in the comics too?) because I felt they had a great scenario at the end of the first movie but they copped out with having him save both successfully.

BTW, I read that they brought Mary Jane back and were going to stop bastardizing her character and try to make Peter and MJ marriage work in the comics. Is that old news?

Yes, Gwen Stacie died in the scene from the first movie. Green Goblin through her off the bridge and Spidey caught her foot with his webbing but the speed and such in which she was going when he caught her, made her neck break. And I don't know if it is old news, because I didn't know they killed Mary Jane off in the comics.

Even if they kill her, they could ALWAYS bring her back. Look at Aunt Mae.

However, you can't get away with that Soap Opera crap in a feature-lengthed film, unless you want it to be horrible.

X-3 is going to be dissappointing. I mean Bret Ratner? Puh-lease.

And I wasn't at all thrilled with the Superman trailer.
