i can't believe he's actually going to resign. i know we've been hearing it, but i still harbor some hope that he's going to come out and say that this is a partisan witch hunt and that he's the victim of a vast right wing conspiracty that forced him to spent tens of thousands on hookers (rivaling charlie sheen's tab with heidi fleiss) and that he's not going to let the gop's smear machine chase him out of office. and then he'll just start screaming, "blank you, bruno! i'm a blanking steamroller! blank all of you!!"

If Spitzer goes, I find it an interesting recent trend with scandals. A democratic governor and two democratic advisors to Obama would have resigned within a few days of their scandals. But we have republicans like Larry Craig who is still in the Senate, Alberto R. Gonzales who hung on for dear life, Donald Rumsfield who should have resigned a year, or more, before he did. etc, etc, etc. What's with scandal ridden Republicans, in the past few years, and their need to stink up their office by staying on?

So, Clinton just lost one superdelegate, right? CNN had reported that if he resigned he would lose his status as a superdelegate, and he had been committed to Clinton.
