one of my fave movies!! I'm obsessed with Jerry O'Connell!! I was happy when Corey Feldman guested on Sliders!! Reunion!

This is one of my favourite movies ever. I ordered the deluxe edition DVD and watched it about 5 times the first couple of days after I received it. River did an amazing job -- they all did -- but Wil Wheaton's my undisputed favourite. That scene where they're all fighting in the woods about whether to turn back and then Gordie just shouts "STOP IT!" and then the camera cuts to him -- that look on his face just stops me dead in my tracks every time. I also love that quiet scene with the deer. And I can never listen to the song "Stand By Me" without tearing up.

kiefer's part was so terrible! i haven't been able to see him in any other role without thinking of that nasty scuz he played in STAND BY ME! -- I'm totally the same way. Kiefer's face frightens me.

(and I still say 'bejesus' on occasion )
