Stephen Fry to wed partner!

As a longtime Stephen Fry fan, this came as such beautiful news this morning... especially since I never knew he had stopped being celibate, which he had been for a long, long time...

Stephen Fry has confirmed he is to marry his partner, Elliott Spencer.

Comedian and writer Fry, 57, has given formal notice to wed Mr Spencer, 27, at a register office in Dereham, Norfolk, near where he grew up.

Writing on Twitter after The Sun newspaper revealed the marriage plans, Fry said: "Oh. It looks as though a certain cat is out of a certain bag.

"I'm very very happy of course but had hoped for a private wedding. Fat chance!"

I was going to read his latest memoir, More Fool Me, but then I didn't bother. Maybe that goes more into his "rocky love life".

I always mentally associate him with Oscar Wilde, and that certainly hasn't changed. In all honesty though, congrats. Recently saw him give a great performance in the Globe's filmed all-male Twelfth Night.

Quite an age differents, not that it matters.

If an older woman goes for a younger man, she is known as a cougar, so if an older man goes for a much younger man, is this know as the Pink Panther?

Good luck to them I say! I have to declare an interest in as much as my partner is 16 years younger than me and he admits, I run rings around him. He swears the fact that I am a multi-millionaire who owns a whisky producing company makes no difference. (Some of this post is an out and out lie)
