Posted: 3/28/06 at 11:03amOur high school musical this year at John Jay High School is Pippin, and today before dress rehearsal, Stephen Schwartz himself is stopping by to discuss it with the cast! Even though I'm a musician for it (I'm playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and banjo for it) I'm going to participate in the discussion.

Posted: 3/28/06 at 2:28pmNo - I used to do this program called FPS (Future Problem Solvers), and states were always held at John Jay High School. We stayed in a hotel in Katonah.

I said, "First of all, I love Kristin Chenoweth." Everyone laughed because of the randomality of it and Stephen said, "Well, the second line forms that over here."
Then I asked him his opinion of the televised version of Pippin and its abridgement and he said that the director of the video was literally on cocaine and he fired Bob Fosse and edited the video himself.
