Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter killed

This is tragic news. One of three adopted daughters of Steven Curtis Chapman was tragically killed yesterday when she was struck by an SUV being driven by her teenaged brother.

I actually hadn't heard who was driving. So tragic. I saw him SO many times many years ago. He was always the nicest man.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I heard this on the radio and was really saddened. I didn't post it here b/c I didn't think anyone would know who he was.

He is a truly nice and generous human being.

I had the opportunity to meet him back in 1996 and he was an extremely nice man. My thoughts are with him and his family during this horrible time.

Steven's website has a link to donate in memory of his daughter to Steven's organization, which is designed to aid people in the process of adopting orphans overseas.

How awful! I saw him in concert a few times as a child and even as I've become more wary of the Contemporary Christian music scene, he's always struck me as an extremely genuine human being. My heart goes out to him and his family.

I have a teacher who is adopting a child from Ethiopia, and so she is connected with this organization. She told me about this.

this news is so sad. I used to be a HUGE fan, and haven't listened to his music in too long, but My heart is very sad for his family right now.

That's so sad. My thoughts are definitely with him and the rest of his family today.

The video of his daughter that was posted on Perez made this even more upsetting--she was so cute. It really upset me when I heard this on the news last night when they first heard about it. I used to be a big fan of his. My thoughts are with his family and him.
