Anyone know why I can't upload photos anymore? Has the process changed? Or is there some cache on my Mac that needs to be cleaned?

I have a gazillion pink pictures that NEED to be posted!

I keep getting a cryptic little red message when I try to upload...and it doesn't seem to matter what the source of the picture was (ie a personal photo or something off the web...)

i've just been copy/pasting then url and it's worked for me, but i am on a dell, not a mac.

Iflit - maybe there's something in your pc that's holding you back. I'm not doing anything different. I load them all into Photobucket. The only difference there is that they now give you 4 lines of code (originally it was 3) and you have to copy the second line of code here. The first line won't work.

I don't have a mac either. Why don't you check with Miss Pennywise? (Their whole family is mac crazy!)

I've been saving the jpg images to my desktop and then selecting them on the upload tool on BWW. And I get an error image every time. I've posted hundreds of pictures before and never had a problem.

I have no trouble seeing anything...just uploading.

I recommend Photobucket too. They have a great tool there that allows you to automatically resize your photos to message board size. This is great for eliminating those monstrously large photos that distort everybody's screens. (This one for instance was enormously big. All I did was click on the 'edit' button and then 'resize'. It gave me 3 or 4 options for different sizes, depending on what I wanted to do with the photo. I clicked on the last one - for a message board and got this size.)

I DON'T use the Optional Image line at the bottom of this form. I just copy the web address that Photobucket assigns to my image and paste it right into the middle of my message.

I've had mostly trouble with photobucket. It hardly ever works for me, and when it does, it takes a year and a day.

Really? Are you using a PC or a Mac? I only use Photobucket now because it's so easy and so dependable. Every photo on the angel thread is on Photobucket. I can load over 60 photos in about 5 minutes.

I even paid to upgrade on photobucket, and when things didn't improve, they refunded my money. I'm on a mac.

Jane, I'm on a mac and I use Photobucket all the time without a hitch. Who knows?????

Mamie,

That pink house looks just like the Rose Victorian Inn back in my home town! When I was young, I was friends with a girl who lived there before it was turned into a B&B (It was painted black and grey and was quite creepy). The attic is haunted and when a friend took a picture of the house, their appeared to be a child, in turn of the century clothing, standing on the front porch.

Where's your home town, Diva? I did a search on that name and discovered that there were a lot of Victorian houses around this country and Canada. (The one in Canada looked closest to the Pink Lady).
