Watch the video. Unbelieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevable.
Can you impeach someone for criminal stupidity?
Bush: Insurgents in Iraq same as 9/11 attackers
I dont think he believes it. He just believes *we* should believe it.
I almost felt sorry watching him today. He is so desperate he'll say anything. Theres no one else around to blame.I think the world is going to plan an event similar to Live Earth when he leaves office. Its going to be like the end of Return of the Jedi. Fireworks in every city in every country.
en and Women crying and signing with joy. Small children throwing their crutches in a large bon fire and walking.Miracles will begin to occur. His last day will be a great day for this planet and all of humanity!

yeah, he doesnt believe it; he just think the American people are stupid enough to believe it.
you know how it is with a stupid person; it never occurs to them that anyone might be smarter than them.
I am glad to see that journalists are starting to give him a hard time. Andrew Sullivan had a interview posted on his blog, with Bush by an Irish News Caster. She was NOT intimidated and asked him all the right questions. It was funny watching him try to keep control of the proceedings.
Ultimatly he resorted to the same catch phrases he always uses. It will be a joyous day when he steps out of office!

Yes. But's it's about 4 years too late. The media have been asleep at the switch. They let this administration intimidate them (which, granted, this administration did a great job of).
...................................... I feel sorry for myself and my peers because we've had to grow up with such a crap government and crap system for everything. I bet I wouldn't know a good government if it stared me in the face, because of all the lying and crap that goes on in politics today.
It IS staring you in the face: PRESIDENT GORE, January 2009.
I'm not sure anything would convince Gore to run at this point.
I think Gore is too cynical and I can not blame him. I don't think he trusts a majority of the Americna people's judgement anymore. I don't think he trusts our news media either. Gore is smart and when he says he has fallen out of love with politics I think he means it.Its too bad for us.
"I don't think he trusts a majority of the Americna people's judgement anymore."
He should. The majority voted for him in 2000. Just not the majority of the Supreme Court.

JoeK has the best post of the day:
No George Bush said it in his press conference yesterday: "How can Tony Rapp and Adam Pascal 'come back' to Rent? They were never in it in the first place! Yer all believing what they say in the papers. They were never in it!"

Al Gore. He won once, he can win again!
Draft Gore.com
When I say he doesn't trust a majority of the American people I meant the way they bought into Bush's war.Bush had high numbers early on into the war. There are other things as well. Al Gore DID win and I think more people now like Gore than they did in 2000. Gore has done SO MUCH since 2000 (more than Bush) Gore has shown the world that he can lead. Bush ran as a uniter yet last weekend it was Gore who was the Uniter at the LIVE EARTH concert(s). I wish Al would reconsider, but he is really making it clear these days he is not running.
Isn't anyone here old enough to remember "If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve"?
