No one describes the collapse of the last few years better than Pat Buchanan. His book stands along side Huxley's "Brave New World" and Orwell's "1984" as a trilogy of nightmare scenarios. We all know about George W. Bush's trillion dollar wars. We heard his speech about closing the homeowner gap, causing banks to make subprime loans to illegals and others who had no way of making payments. We know about Wall St. greed and the mismanagement of the monetary system by the Federal Reserve. Buchanan goes deeper. He writes of the death of Christianity and the breakdown of basic morality in western societies. We see their effects in a president who grew up in Muslim Indonesia and in the coming acceptance of "gay marriage" and legalized marijuana. With the decomposition of society and endless culture wars, Americans have not only ceased to love but have come to detest one another. There is no common ground. Civilization is unraveling.

I read this so quickly I thought Pat Buchanan committed suicide. I should have read slower.
And when is your next cross burning Jim Colyer WS?
I read this so quickly I thought Pat Buchanan committed suicide. I should have read slower.
I wasn't even reading quickly, Phyllis. I just hoped.
Are you aware, white supremacist, that Americans have been divided since the Washington administration? Threats of secession came from across the country in the first few decades of its existence. Rebellions arose over taxes, over treaty ratifications, over wars real and potential. The Federalists and the Democratic-Republicans waged war on each other in such a way that makes Obama v. Romney look like high tea.
Civilization isn't unraveling.
But you and your ilk sure are.
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm glad you've finally decided to share your noxious, racist, bigoted views on here at last.
I love how "gay marriage" is proof that "Americans have ceased to love".
What does that say about Jim's own marriage or view thereof?
I thought we were rid of Crazy Pat!! Coyler is such a tease...
If I recall correctly from his online bio, Jim Colyer's idea of love is boning other men's wives.
Not really interested his this man's ideas of morality. And that's before we talk about the fact that he uses the word "n*gger" the way other people use the word "and."

Says the person who put gay marriage in quotes. Also, for the point I think he was trying to make only marriage should have been quotes.
"I fell in love with the wife of a faculty member. We paired off every night in the cafeteria." --"Bio" from www.jimcolyer.com
"I vowed that if I ever became enamored with another married woman, I would strike like lightning! . . . It did not take long. . . . My assistant sat at the desk behind me. It was Karen, the future mother of my son. . . . She was married to a man who worked on another floor of the library." --"Bio" from www.jimcolyer.com
I'm sorry--what were you saying about morality?

JCWS seems to have been clawing at the fabric for quite a few decades now.
The only thing funnier than Jim Colyer talking about morality is Pat Buchanan bemoaning the lack of love for one's fellow man.

I'm curious about this "death of Christianity" because from where I stand, it's still alive and kicking.
Crazy Pat when I just saw him on McLaughlin, C-SPAN, and other MSM outlets was kooky in a sort of endearing, "I have that kind of relative" sort of way. Then I discovered his regular contributions to Alex Jones' show and the equally wacky conspiracy peddler RT News and just got very disturbed. His obsession with the "Amero" pretty much ended whatever tolerance I had of him.
I had an former co-worker (and ex-con turned born-again Christan) who kept on spouting those New World Order views frequently to the point when he gave his two weeks notice, we all were relieved because his cult of customers who came just to engage in loud conversations about the 'fall of the American empire' were obnoxious and slowing down business activity. Pretty sure he had a little book club going about the more recent Buchanan books.
Reg, I think it's pretty clear Colyer is a victim of this sad state of affairs. If it weren't for the gays marrying and the races mixing and Christianity being defiled, he wouldn't have impregnanted a married woman like some pagan colored person.
Kad, I sure hope you're right. But judging by his pictures, surely Jimbo fathered his . . . son quite a few decades before them pesky gays started getting uppity (just like the you-know-whats in the 60s) and demanding equal rights.
It's almost as though Jim were behaving in an immoral manner long before he had anyone to blame for his actions.
But that can't be right, can it? It certainly doesn't fit into Buchanan's theories.

True Christianity died circa AD 325 with the First Council of Nicaea. It's been nothing but politics ever since.
"...Most songwriters are introverts as I was. The creative process and schizophrenia go hand in hand."....
"... My religious phase was crazy. As America rejected the Vietnam War, I began reading books of a spiritual nature. I delved into the writings of Aldous Huxley. One thing led to another, and I fell in with a group of Jesus freaks. We went to a Pentecostal church where the congregation danced in the aisles. We spoke in tongues. I threw away all my possessions except for my clothes, Bible and guitar. I went off the deep end and was admitted to the mental ward at the Veterans Hospital. I was given shock treatments. My gospel songs sprang from the turmoil. Jesus Paid My Debt was the best. I recorded Jesus Paid My Debt with Kymberly 36 years after it was written. No problem because the song sounded 100 years old from the beginning! It reeks of old time religion."...
I have an idea. It may not be sustainable long term, but at least it would bring some good out of engaging JC. Whenever you feel unable to resist responding to JC, consider making a donation of time or money (even if only 1 hour or $1) to a cause/charity that fights the bigotry he espouses. Be sure to include below your initial response and provide a link for anyone else moved to donate.
And since I responded to one of his threads...
I just donated $5 to the Trevor Project to help fund crisis management and suicide prevention programs for LGBTQ youth. Thanks to Jim Colyer for reminding me to donate in support of their important work!
Yes, great idea. The entire purpose of exposing this cretin is to fight against bigotry, racism, etc. every day in small but important ways.

Cut Jim Colyer, White Supremacist some slack! It's hard to grasp the reality of a situation when your schmeckle is stuck in a cactus.
