I was part of that summer's insanity.... however, I have no internet access on the weekends (boo, yeah I know, I suck)
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
was I 04 or 05...?
hmmmm....
Well, according to your "joined," it was '04. And I think I remember you being in parts of it.
The winter '05 chats were better :-P
NOPE!

"Too sexy . . . Too sexy!"
Exactly BSo. Winter '05.
We all watched the Oscars in there...realized we lived near each other b/c you knew the stupid mall in our town I was referring to..., the me/Gerry, Zepka/Emmy double wedding, etc.
Good good times.
So vaguely connected to this thread...
Tonight will mark the first time that ~ff~ and Gunn will meet in real life.
Let's hope that neither one of them is secretly a serial killer out to murder the other.
(Wait, I know I'm not. And I'm pretty sure Gunn isn't. So it should be fine... but then again, we're going to see The Pillowman... Is that some sort of a sign?)
Uh oh. Internet crushes collide. Don't go breaking any hearts you two.
Oh, Chris, you know better than that. If I remember correctly, a year and a half ago I was online talking to Gunn until the wee hours of the morning, and he had a hand in convincing me to start dating a guy (who, btw, I am still dating).
But, if anyone was wondering, Gunn is just as funny, friendly, and optimistic in person as you'd expect him to be.
awww I miss the chats
I'll be there.
According to this thread, we're missing even more people...

Ummm I don't know if anyone here can give me any information, but I am desperate, but this was listed under my brother's favorites and he was signed in so I thought I'd ask here. My brother never came home from Chicago last night. We got a strange message about some flower girl cutting off his toes and painting him green with pigs. Has anyone here heard from him?
Gunn, I read the line "My brother never came home from Chicago last night" and nearly had a heart attack. Don't DO that to me. I scare easy. Remember how my heart was weird after the show last night? Yeah. That just happened again.
And CATS! My kitten! How I miss you, darling!

We sat on a curb at a dirty gas station to eat pizza. And one of the first things I asked her was if she had any TicTacs because my breath smelled bad from when I had eaten earlier. Not to mention my little insane ATOTC fanboy moment when FF showed me that Christopher Akerlind had designed the lighting for the show.
Pretty bad first impression. :-P I do wish I could have stuck around a bit longer, but I had to work at 6 AM. (Of course I didn't know I had to work Sunday morning until about 2 hours before I left for Chicago, but that's another story.) Anyway FF is lovely in person, and put up with my craziness which is an accomplishment in and of itself. (And yes I did help convince FF to date her boyfriend! Good memory FF!)
Gunn, eating pizza at the gas station with you was one of the highlights of my time so far in Chicago. And please remember that I was just as geeked about the lighting design as you were. I DID point it out.
And of COURSE I remember you telling me to date Jake. You, ckeaton, and my friends Greg and Var all played a part in that happening. And so far, so good.
Those chats, as loser-ish as it sounds, really did help me in a lot of ways discover myself.
I wish I visited BWW more often than once very three months or so now. I miss a lot of people.
Miss you too, Priest.
And ditto to the sentiment.
If you're ever in Chicago, send me a PM.
