Maybe not the most creative title, but how can I audition to be a part of some Summer Stock theatre? It sounds like a fun experience, but I don't know anything about it. I need some help!
I guess it matters where you live, but here is some info.

NETC forms were due Feb 1st. But Muny auditions are March 8th.
Muny is very cliquish. (sp?) I auditioned with them last year and it was obvious to me that they cast the same people every year. And their audition was surprisingly very un professional and un orgranized...I dunno maybe I went on an off year. But essentially you have to break into Muny Kids when you're young and keep your name in their files for them to give you a second glance. I guess that can be said about a lot of companies though.
And if your school participates in the American College Theatre Festival they usually have summer stock auditions there.
Yeah I figured The Muny would be like that. Why not audition anyway though. Never know haha
It's certainly an experience. And a cattle call.
I'm from Texas, so which of those is closet to me?
