terrible fumble call at the end. His arm was coming forward.
but seriously, could arizona have tried a little harder to give that away? There terrible tackling on the interception return at the end of the first half. triple coverage on the 4th quarter TD and yet no one makes a play on the ball. All those penalties.
As terribly as they played its amazing they didn't lose by 40 points.

Posted: 2/1/09 at 10:36pmYeah, I'm not happy that the Steelers won. Oh well. I didn't see halftime either because I was loading photos for my mom on her computer because she doesn't know how to do it. And I agree, the commercials weren't great. I liked the Doritos one with the snowglobe and the Budweiser one with the 2 horses. I thought there were too many advertisements for movies.

Great Game. I am sorry that the Cardinals lost, but enjoyed watching the game.
I think on the second to last play, the defensive player had his hand on the ball before Warner began to move his arm forward, and that is why it was called a fumble.
The commercials were generally not memorable. But, at least the game was.

Well, it was an exciting game. I was actually rooting for the Steelers, even though Warner is hotter than Roth-whatever his name is. That's usually how I decide who I'm rooting for - yes I'm shallow like that. But for some reason I wanted the Steelers to win, so I was pleased.
Like I said in my earlier post, the halftime show kicked A$$! And J-Hud was awesome. I love her to pieces.

Posted: 2/2/09 at 8:15amSpeaking of halftime show, does anyone know if those people on the field come from the stands, or are they coming from the outside and then are herded out of the stadium? I am always amazed at how quickly they can set up, protect the field, and then shoo every one out.

I was down there for the game and it was an incredible weekend!!
Someone up-thread mentioned the commercial with the snow globe, well two brothers submitted that through a contest organized by Frito-Lay and since that was the number 1 ad on the USA Today ad-meter they get a million bucks!

This was asked earlier, and I was just sent this article: the field fans during the halftime show do NOT come from the stands. And apparently it's pretty crappy being one, too.
