The Muppets one was probably my favorite over all, but Sarah McLachlan getting attacked by that doberman/chihuahua hybrid was my favorite single moment of all the commercials.

Sarah MacLachlan should've done a PSA for the Broncos.

Pretty much agree with this list.
(Especially love that they ranked Subway at the end... which, by the way, has been on the air already so shouldn't technically be considered a Super Bowl ad!)

My two favorite commercials of the night were the T-Mobile spots with Tebow. I loved him poking fun at himself and the things he was pretending to do with all his free time were mostly hilarious. His action movie was called Illegal Formation! Come on!
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

Just out of curiosity, what did people think of the Coca-Cola America the Beautiful commercial? It is sparking a lot of controversy with people who are proving what wonderful "Americans" they are.

i felt the Coca Cola Ad was the best one of the night. It shows a true america. a melting pot. and the different languages completely solidify what Americans should all be about. Reminding our country that English isn't the official language of the USA anyway... so it makes perfect sense.
I think those that are opposed and probably scared to see a true America probably didn't pass their History class.

I saw it, and had the thought - Uh Oh, the right is going to crazy over this one.
For the record, I am pretty progressive, but do think we should have one national language.

Yeah, I think if you come here you should at least learn the necessities of speaking English. Like I would try to do that if I was going to another country. But, I didn't hate the commercial. I guess reading some reactions to it made me roll my eyes a bit because there are people who think our official language is American and were saying some pretty ignorant things like Coke was promoting terrorism and other things like that.

Football's Super Butts (nsfw-ish)
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I felt the Coke ad was a little saccharine because Coke seems to know how much good PR it struck with such a commercial, which given their whole history on equality (**ahem** South Africa Apartheid) makes me really cynical to see them as the good guys. Truth be told, I like the Spanish rendition of the song and really, it's just a song even if it is a song I wish was our national anthem. It's not the anthem or the pledge or reciting of the Declaration of Independence. But both versions of 'America the Beautiful' were heard in that ad which just feels like a compromise where Coke is covering their tracks. I don't know. I purchase Coke products but I never felt compelled to purchase something because of social justice. I know plenty of Chicanos who are fighting for citizenship and that Coke commercial is doing nothing for them.
But like others I thought, 'Oh boy, Fox News has something to talk about tomorrow!'.
