Godfather II is unequivocally better than the first. Just like Empire is the best of the original Star Wars trilogy.
Part 3's not so much....whether it's Sofia "dad??!!" Coppola or ewoks.

I give it a AAA+
That Ben Affleck is quite the gifted actor.

Posted: 10/23/04 at 1:04pmThey filmed this in Chicago and at the time there was quite a few rumblings from Gandolfini about how bad it was and how they should quit while they could...I think he even tried to get out of it (don't quote me on that one) It was really a fiasco. Not to mention the daily Bennifer sightings.

Posted: 10/23/04 at 1:09pmThis is a high quality holiday film. I wish more holiday films came out throughout the year to keep people in the christmas mood!

Posted: 10/23/04 at 1:20pmI was worried that this was the one based on Grisham's "Skipping Christmas" What did they name the movie again? I remember from previews that it has Tim Allen in it.

Posted: 10/23/04 at 1:41pmAh, Vivien Leigh. From a time when actors were people too, and were expected to work like people. Now these boards are full of "poor actors, they work three hours a day, and it's EXHAUSTING! they need their REST!" posts. I do not, will not, and shall not ever get that point of view.
