Eating that stuff would probably be my biggest downfall on Survivor. That and dealing with all the insects and insect bites in general.
Overall, they seem to be playing pretty smart this season with one glaring exception. Why on earth haven't they targeted Tyson?!?! Have they never watched the show?

Todd Herzog, the winner of 'Survivor China', is battling alcoholism.

At age 22, he was the youngest winner of Survivor and if he was predisposed to the illness, I imagine it was too much for someone so young. I knew guy in college back in 1999 who was exactly like Herzog at the same age. I've always wondered if he was able to get into treatment and recovery. I used to see him getting carried out of bars on a regular basis.

I hope everything will turn out okay. Addiction is usually something very difficult to recover from.

Actually, he is the second youngest. Jenna Morasca ('The Amazon') and Fabio Birza ('Nicaragua') both won at age 21.

I don't like Ciera...
Big win for Monica and really interesting decision on her part to give away the reward part of the win.

Looks like I'm the only one still watching this?
Was so disappointed they didn't get rid of Ciera last week.
I hope Caleb is able to get back into the game.
Ciera and her mom can go home now.

I like Cier and Laura, but Ciera has been getting a bit too sloppy and aggressive. I hope they finally target Tyson, especially now that he's played the idol.
I would probably like Caleb if I didn't know he was in a relationship with Colton. Ugh. I think it would be funny to see Laura get back in and wind up winning the whole thing. I think I'd rather see Tina come back than Caleb.

Yes - Tyson playing the idol was a big mistake. He surely has a target on his back now.
Agree about wanting to see Tina over Caleb return to the game.
Still not a fan of Ciera and Laura...

Oh, how tragic!
My heart goes out to their family.
Heartbreaking.

I had a feeling about 6 episodes ago that if they didn't find a way to vote off Tyson, that he would win.
What is this clue for next season? BBB?

I completely hate Colton. Good for him for figuring out that he can't live with himself, and needs someone to baby him through life. May that lucky person have him.
So happy that Gervaise didn't win. He rode on Tyson coattails and it was obvious. The only smart thing he did was, at the final jury, tried to make it seem like he was using Tyspn as a shield.
SURVIVOR is probably the most difficult of all game shows, due to the combination of physical and social elements, plus the addition of chance and luck.

I liked the season more than I expected to.
I'm not surprised Tyson won.
Tina and her daughter must still be in shock. But, it was wonderful to see them at the show tonight. I hope they found strength and support among their fellow Survivors.
Good season. On to the next.

It was a pretty good season despite Tyson's win. Kudos to him for finding a way to avoid being a major target from the beginning. I was just shocked he wasn't THE main target from the start unless nobody ever saw his previous seasons. Winning that last immunity cinched his win and giving his other idol to Gervaise only proved that he truly felt Gervaise was a totally weak player and he needed Gervaise in the end.
Boy, Monica really took a beating at tribal. I really felt her frustration. I don't know why so many people were so concerned about knowing the "true Monica" or whatever. What was it they wanted her to say? She's a nice lady who talked a lot of making moves, but in the end, just stuck with her alliance. I don't know why they needed to pummel her with drama just to hear her reiterate what they already knew. It was interesting to see the old photo of her and Brad with her old face. I still can't believe she's younger than me. Living with Brad has definitely taken its toll.
Love it every time Probst calls Colton out on his behavior. Colton is just an ignorant bitch and evidently proud of being an ignorant bitch and will continue to act like an ignorant bitch at every opportunity. I honestly think the only reason Probst asks him any questions at all is to watch Colton make an idiot of himself. I honestly can't imagine what Kaleb sees in Colton. I wouldn't be surprised if their relationship turns into a new reality show on the E! network or Bravo.
I was a bit curious about Tina and Katie being there and was sort of hoping they wouldn't address the accident, but it was all handled beautifully.
Brawn, Brains & Beauty? aka Survivor: Beauty and the Geek? I'd love to have a good old-fashioned classic Survivor with an all-new tribe and no gimmicky themes. Remember when they used to do that?

I totally forgot about this thread haha but if anyone cares I thought I'd just share my thoughts on this season.
In general it was an amazing season. Probably top 10 ever actually. The pre merge was dominated by big moves and Brad Culpepper. The merge started a little slow but picked up speed once Ciera voted out her mom. (That was crazy.) The drawing of the rocks was the most intense tribal council I've ever seen. Probably the best tribal I've ever seen as well. Hayden, Ciera, and Vytas were great newbies and I think we'll be seeing them again. Tyson was a great winner. Yes it was kinda obvious but that's because he just played a fantastic game the whole way through. In general I LOVED this season. Hope you guys did too!
Also what does everyone think of nexts seasons twist? Brains, Beauties, Brawns. Could be either really interesting or kinda stupid but at least it's all new people!
And congrats to Rob and Amber!
