If this was "planned" by the Weisslers, why didn't they just wait until the Chicago run was over. They could have said Applegate hurt her foot in a rehearsal, instead of the big "production", or is that just how they are? And I don't understand replacing Diaz and Sandy-- they were awesome!!
At least I can say I saw the show (wasn't my favorite, but O'Hare and the music were dynamic), with Christina and have a signed playbill.

Good lord, this is getting ridiculous. Has anyone yet mapped out the magic bullet that found its way to Christina's foot from the box seats of the Palace theatre? Wanda Holloway, John Wilkes Booth and Eve Harrington were seen sharing martinis at the Encore bar in the Allegro Hotel next door nanoseconds around the time of the incident. Oliver Stone has a film in the works to be released next Christmas called "Apple-Gate" incorporating actual footage of the film starring Shirley McClaine (who knew this was going to happen). Charlotte D'Amboise is permanently tentatively slated to replace the as-yet undetermined celebrity playing Christina Applegate, but that is subject to change pending planned future injuries. Karen Ziemba will play Charlotte D'Amboise and will be nominated but not receive an award for her performance.
