You have to wait a week to see a doctor? Where do you live - Canada?

A wise woman once said on this board,"Don't be foolish enough to ask message board posters for medical advise. The advise you are likely to get could very well come from someone who just got home from middle school."

That's some good advice bluemoon.

However, even in Canada we have medical clinics that don't require appointments. So, even if you have to wait two weeks to see a real doctor, so can see one of their shoddy colleagues right away. (And it's ALMOST free!)

I've had the WORST swollen glands this week. Being sick is the pits.

My throat has been so swollen, that it's visible from the outside.



When I was younger I almost had my tonsils taken out due to my constant diagnosis of strep throat. I never did, and I sort of regret it to this day.

Now I usually try to catch it before it happens and take lots of Zinc, Echinacea, and vitamins.

Anyway, I feel ya!
