THe Human Comedy

The show leaves a lot to be desired... its pretty awful. My college did it a few years ago and its just a mess. Some of the music is pretty but thats about it. The music for the most part is more contemporary musical theater sounding, but has a few songs that are standard sounding. Its not a comedy as the title may suggest, so don't sing anything comical. There are no high sopranos, all females belt. If you have a really soulful voice there is a character named "Beautiful Music" who sings/belts her face off, think Elphaba, then sing something with an edge. There is a sister and her friend who are "cutesy" so, you could go with an ado annie type song. I sang "i still believe in love" from they're playing our song when i auditioned for it.
