How many of them have been adhered to faithfully? None

There was a week long moratorium in November or December that was a success. The odd poster who didn't know about it may have engaged the troll until someone pointed out that we were ignoring them.

mikey and JC's threads dropped like stones. Except the one that mikey kept talking to himself in, which was priceless.

Another category entirely from the trolls mentioned previously in this thread, but why is one particular fruitcake allowed run amok on the main board with endless inane threads/questions? Under many guises, of course, but still...why can't the mods just delete him once and for all? Maybe I'm the only one it bothers.

Earlier suspicion of the mods got me to thinking that maybe these are artificial attempts to stir up theatre conversation, planted to impress potential advertisers or whatever...but maybe I'm being too paranoid. (I do appreciate this service, mods!)

I believe you're right. It's all about biz/$$$$. I can ignore the main board ones very easily. The mods are probably different people on diff days, too. There IS no rhyme or reason.

The POWER is the people. Ignore, and they disappear. Talk around them like they're invisable. Easy.
