Posted: 2/22/10 at 7:50pmTheatreFan4, they have a bunch of episodes of some of the original Nicktoons. I just checked, they have the first two seasons of Doug as well as the first two seasons of Hey Arnold. There is also a compilation "album" so to speak of various old nick shows that include Ahha real monsters , The Angry Beavers, Rocket Power and As Told By Ginger.

The original Cupid. The dialogue! The charm! The romance! Jeremy Piven successfully playing a sympathetic role! Seriously, the fact that this show isn't on DVD is a travesty.
You certainly can't make the "it's old and forgotten" excuse - it aired in 1998-99. Basically, the studio that made it isn't in the TV business anymore and its back catalogue is sitting abandoned, so barring a miracle this short-run gem will never make it to DVD and we'll all be doomed to watch VHS captures of the complete series on YouTube forever.

Rocko's Modern Life on DVD I can only find 'Best of...' in 3 volumes.
OK, what exactly are the rights up for grabs with Muppet Babies?
The Adam West Batman TV series is not on DVD. The movie is the closest thing.
I put a vote in for Daria too.
Tiny Toon Adventures has only season 1 on DVD.
I wonder if NBC will ever make a Best of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien? I imagine a lot of newspeak involved in the process.

I guess because no one who has responded to this thread is "of a certain age" is the reason that NO ONE has offered up
THE MOTHERS IN LAW
Kaye Ballard (one of the greatest under appreciated talents of our age) and Eve Arden (of whom there should be a statue somewhere in this great land of ours)
Ok, so, they're doing the same sort of crap that Lucy did in her later shows that wasn't that funny (it was the first show that Desilu did after "I Love Lucy" went off the air), it's two comic goddesses doing what they do best!!!

Strummergirl,
There are more Rocko episodes as well as episodes from classic Nicktoons on Itunes. More are out there then on DVD at the moment.
And, the thing with Muppet Babies is that that cartoon was known for using clips from tons of old movies. Most of which are hard to get rights for for DVD release which is why they haven't put the show on DVD.

Everwood season 3 is indeed coming out this year lasagna.
And as bwayjim mentioned, tvshowsondvd.com is the most complete, up to date, and accurate site for this info. There is even an area where you can vote to have your favorite show put on dvd. These end up going directly to the studio and have many times influenced what actually comes out when.
Here is the link for Everwood

Tom1071, you may know this already, but just in case....the first season of the original Bionic Woman series is on Hulu.
I realize this isn't the same as the complete series on DVD, but it's something at least.

I know why the labels do what they do, it doesn't mean I have to like it!

In the 80's every now and again there would be a made for TV moving starring many of the "hot" teen stars from various sitcoms. I know Dance 'til Dawn (starring Brian Bloom, Tracy Gold, Christina Applegate, Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Tempest Bledsoe) is on DVD but Crash Course (starring Brian Bloom, Tina Yothers, Alyssa Milano, Rob Stone, Olivia d'Abo) is not. There was also Dream Date (Tempestt Bledsoe, Kadeem Hardison, JoAnn Wilette) which is also not available. I feel like I'm forgetting a few but these are the ones I remember the most.
Does anyone else remember these?

How could I forget short lived Tim Minear (Firefly, Dollhouse) created Fox series 'The Inside' and 'Drive'!?
Anyone a fan of 'The Inside' from summer 2005? It remains one of my favorite television shows, short-lived or otherwise.
Kate Finneran of the Promises, Promises revival is a brilliant source of dry wit. Adam Baldwin is priceless. Jay Harrington (Better Off Ted) is adorable. And, Rachel Nichols was a revelatory leading lady.
Also, 'Jake 2.0', on the defunct UPN, was a wonderful show with hunky/awesome Christopher Gorham (Henry on 'Ugly Betty', 'Buffy').
I may have said this before but 'The Sifl and Olly Show' needs to be on DVD someday in my lifetime.
