that spin off thread made me think of old shows i miss and wish were on DVD... here are mine..
Just the 10 of Us
Head of the Class
Herman's Head
and i doubt they'd ever be on DVD... but i really want these shows to be aired online
The Charmings (there are some eps on youtube).. but did anyone watch it? about snow white waking up in the present day... i loved this show when i was a kid!
Hi Honey I'm Home... it was almost like Pleasantville... this teenager loved old tv shows and he lived next door to a family still trapped in the 50s... and he had a remote control that could make life black and white.. it was so odd i loved it
Wild Oats.. Paul Rudd's failed sitcom... i kinda liked it! haha
How about Bette Midler's sitcom? I kinda liked it, especially the dysfunctional relationship between Bette and her two assistants.
I remember the Charmings. Brock from Reba was Prince Eric and the queen from Ever After was the Wicked Queen.
And wasn't Joanna Gleason Bette's assistant?
I also remember "Hi, Honey I'm Home". It was part of the TGIF lineup if I recall correctly.
Cop Rock!
THE WONDER YEARS. I know it's some issue involving rights to the music, but I want this on DVD so badly.

Muppet Babies-I have a feeling that will be never though based on all the movie and tv clips it used.
The Powers That Be
Definitely the Wonder Years
The Chris Isaak Show
The Bionic Woman (the original)
Sisters
Models, Inc. (a major guilty pleasure)
I remember The Charmings. My family to this day still quotes this exchange (though I can't remember who said it):
Character A: Fiddlesticks!
Character B: *Gasp* The F word!
Screw TV shows...I want TV movies!
DAWN: PORTRAIT OF A TEENAGE RUNAWAY, CHILD OF RAGE, DESPERATE LIVES, GO ASK ALICE...I say bring 'em back in all their sincere, grubby glory.
When Things Were Rotten!!!! (though rumor has it that it will be released this year)
The rest of: Here Come the Brides, Big Valley, SWAT, Black Sheep Squadron, The Equalizer, WKRP in Cincinnati, Hill Street Blues---I hate that TPTB put out one season and then stop!
^ That happens quite frequently. They'll put out a season to see if it sells, and if it doesn't do well, they won't bother with the rest. But yes, it is frustrating for the fans. I want to see the rest of Charles in Charge come out besides the first season. The show was completely revamped after that.

Amazon has like every season of Charles in Charge.
I wish the remaining seasons of The Facts of Life would come out on dvd. They stopped after season three.
Season 4 comes out May 4th.

ALICE! ALICE! ALICE! ALICE!!!! with Linda Lavin. Did I mention, ALICE! No idea why this show has never been released when all of these failed sitcoms with one season get released. Oh the inhumanity.
Also, I'd like the TV movie "The Legend of Lizzie Borden" with Elizabeth Montgomery to hit DVD.

I would like to see all the made-for-television films (particularly of the 70s) be released!

I really would love an official dvd release of David Lynch's amazingly underrated half-hour absurdest comedy "On The Air."
The Carol Burnett Show and her mini-series Fresno would be a welcome addition to my dvd collection.
Cop Rock!!!!
Muppet Babies
The Wonder Years
Daria
Salute Your Shorts
Is Perfect Strangers on DVD?
I agree with taz and borstalboy...Cop Rock and 70s tv movies!
I'd also like the boxed "Hollywood Wives" from the 80s.!
Muppet Babies will never be on DVD. There are just too many rights issues with all the old movie clips that they used.
However, I do remember walking through a Toys R Us years back, and they did have stuffed animals of the Muppet Babies characters attached with a DVD with one or two cartoon shorts. That was the extent of the show ever airing on DVD.
I do know that you can still find the fifteen min cartoons on the site that must not be named. I don't know why they were able to bring the show out on those DVDs and not actually do full length ones.
Is Twin Peaks on DVD? I catch it on the scyfy channel sometimes (why did they change the spelling of that btw?) but would like to see the whole thing in order again.
Daria is coming out on dvd
Charles In Charge had 3 seasons released (though I'm showing season 3 as being cut out)
