Hi guys.
I apologize in advance for posting this (i know everyone is sick of these threads) but I am completely streesed out. Our performance class has a show (revue type thing) two weeks from today. Being the only really experienced dancer, the teachers have not only made me dance captian but asked me to do two different solos. For those I am doing Only Hope-A Walk to Remember (lyrical) and Roxie (Chicago).
Today the teachers asked me to do a duet with another girl who has some tap experience. I have 6+ years. Any ideas on songs? I would do this myself but none are coming to mind and I feel as if I have looked at the obvious.
Preferably from musical theatre.
Thanks!
Tiffany
"Famous Feet" from A DAY IN HOLLYWOOD/A NIGHT IN THE UKRAINE.
Good number, with good tapping, and easy enough to throw together quickly.
Meant for a guy and a girl, but gender is never specified and you don't need a guy at all.
Thanks Ill take a look at it!!
I was looking around and found these two (Both on Lauren Kennedy's album Here and Now)
Here I Am (originally from Dirty Rotten Scoundrals)
Mr Hopalong Heartbreak
Any opinions/more suggestions?

My personal favorite is Cold Feets from Drowsy. Unfortunately it's meant for two guys but I'm sure you could make it work.
How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Love You When You Know I've Been A Liar All My Life
it's a guy and girl number, but definitely worth checking out.
My friend did How the Other Half Lives from Millie, even though they don't tap it in the show. It worked out really well.

All I Need Is The Girl - Gypsy (although, with two girls...)
A Tough Act To Follow - Curtains (whole new meaning. you could play it up like you two are a tough act to follow in a talent show meaning you're so amazing.)
