I've already seen In The Heights with Lin-Manuel. Also, I've heard not such good things about Guys and Dolls. How is Rock of Ages doing?

The only shows currently on broadway that I've seen are In The Heights and Avenue Q. I wanted to make an appearance to see Sutton Foster since I've seen her last two shows and am a pretty big fan. I wouldn't mind seeing West Side Story but will probably take a pass on 9 to 5.

I'm planning a NY trip in July and I've been kind of out of the Broadway world for a little bit. I feel like I'm watching an over confident Wendla on the screen and it's scaring me. But the show isn't all that bad.

Norm Lewis, the entire Spring Awakening cast (well most...), The In The Heights cast and Danny Burstein. Oh and Beth Leavel of course.

I know he's been working on it and was expecting a July release. I don't think it's out yet though.

The tour cast is great! I saw the original company and the only character I really felt wasn't as good as the original was Janet. It's hard to compare to Sutton. But the tour is GREAT.

I read this whole thread and still don't really know what the purpose is... We have people saying ITH is like Rent...so now no one can write a show set in a NYC neighborhood. Oh wait, Avenue Q is like Rent which would mean ITH is like Avenue Q. And seriously, Lin isn't stealing other peoples music. He (as does EVERY writer) has inspirations. He even gives reference to Cole Porter (Give him some credit!). So what if his music resembles some of his inspirations? Every songwriter models their so...

I love Just a little upset from Cry-Baby..but god I hate that show.

I'd say Avenue Q cause I know Sutton wont be in YF anymore and not sure about anyone else. But both are wonderful shows. Great line up!

Raul may not be the most deserving this year but last year sure was a heartbreaker and I hope that soon he finds another role like Bobby.

I'm excited. I wish Little Mermaid had been up for Best Musical instead of Cry-Baby so their performance could have been justified.

I'm sure this has been pointed out already but anyone notice how Benny's mic changes a lot in the video of 96,000?
