re: Tea Time!!!

Hot, English Breakfast with milk. Or hot strawberry tea is good too. Otherwise, Cold Snapple.

But I'll take a cappucino over chamomile any day.

Black.

Neither peach nor lemon.

re: Tea Time!!!

Both ways are good, but I love sweet iced tea the best. I could live on it.

I've been to afternoon tea in England many times. One of my favorite places is Brown's Hotel.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

re: Tea Time!!!

My father was British; but my mother was the tea lover. We always had tea, growing-up.

I prefer black tea, hot with milk and sugar

I like peach iced tea

Use to go to high-teas when doing the Music Fair circuit, in Washington D.C., at the Mayflower Hotel.

Always, when I'm in London, which isn't so much anymore!

Hot with lemon

I've been to high tea several times in London, but for some reason, never in NYC.

re: Tea Time!!!

Tazo - earl grey - superior!

FS - my mother in law is British and the tea stains and ritual can be tortious at time. Where was or is the Mayflower in DC?

re: Tea Time!!!

I'm drinking a cup of Bengal Spice right now - delish! Hot tea is always better to me than Iced - I just can't get into iced tea. I used to drink a cup of Green tea every day at work (it was free!)...I need to get back in that habit - great antioxidants in that stuff!
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

All kinds of Tea - hot and iced.

At the moment I'm enjoying Herbata z Sok Malinowy (Tea with Raspberry Syrup)

re: Tea Time!!!

I've never been able to bring myself to like any sort of fruit teas. But I adore peppermint tea. And I actually like the taste of Throat Coat. Actually, I think that maybe I should go drink some now...loving Conrad Birdie really takes a lot out of my voice.

love me. love my tea.

re: Tea Time!!!

Hot black tea in the afternoon. Hot green or herbal tea at night.

Iced tea in the summer. Home brewed.

Assam has that great malty flavor to it. Something very pristine about Darjeelings... smokiness of the oolongs... can't beat Earl Grey of all types (mental note: get Addy some Rose Earl Grey)...

Afternoon teas whether high (or low) are always enjoyable. Longing to have tea at the Savoy in London again...

re: Tea Time!!!

As I gave up coffee a few months ago, tea is now my best friend. Hot or cold. But I usually don't like it sweet.

And as long as we are talking "tea" - I adore the "Tea for Two" segments on The Judy Garland T.V. Show. Imagine Judy sitting down to tea with Streisand, Jayne Meadows, Steve Allen, June Allyson, George Jessell, etc. Fun, fun, fun...

re: Tea Time!!!

Does anyone know where places like Cracker Barrel get their iced tea? It's too consistent from place to place to be brewed on the premises. How do they make it?

re: Tea Time!!!

Both!! Just love tea! As a matter of fact I am having Earl Grey tea even as I type! When I was first married, one of the neighbors was English and always invited me to tea time (how nice a custom!)
