So, Fox bitched and LIED that the mainstream media did not cover any of the 9/12 Protests in DC. However, Fox or any of the cable news channels are covering the march today.I thought we were suppose to have a liberal media?

I thought the march was tomorrow...
The comments on that article make me feel sick.
I thought the march was today. Maybe it's Obama's speech I ws thinking about. I did not even read the comments when I posted this. I agree. DISGUSTING!

I just love the one about there not being a gay "jean".
Yes J-E-A-N.
Obama's speech is tonight at the HRC dinner. The march is tomorrow. MSNBC and CNN have been covering the weekend.
"So will Obama be teabagging Perez Hilton to show his support for gays?"
Now, that's funny.
Oh--and never read the comments on ANY website. They will always make you sick.
(Including BroadwayWorld...)
LOLOLOLOL!
The best exchange is this one about Obama and Lady Gaga:
Idiot #1:
"With a list of names like that......along with "Lady Gaga" supplying the entertainment......it looks like a real dignified night for our "President".
Can this become any more of an embarassment to our country?
I hope that Obama and his wife, are man and woman enough to take the kids to the party."
Idiot #2:
"Let's hope he does NOT take the daughters. They're probably already learning all the right PC lessons at Sidwell Friends. And it's not like they're going to church every Sunday for a rebuttal of any kind.
I wonder if bisexual Lady Gaga will pull a Marilyn Monroe and suggest to the president "I want to take a ride on your disco stick!"
---------------------------------------------------------------
I hope she does! And I hope he lets her! The black president screws around with a bisexual hermaphrodite (you KNOW they think she is!) would give them enough bile-fueled fodder to last out his term.
I wonder if Gaga will make everyone really uncomfortable and write a song to commemorate the event/night as she did on SNL a week ago tonight? A call to protest/action? And, the most important question: What will she wear?
This country is headed down some dark roads but I can't help but find this sort of PAINFULLY out-of-touch-ness at least amusing for the time being... until all hell breaks loose, that is.
P
I'd imagine she'd do an acoustic set considering the time and place.
Probably throw in a song/change the lyrics appropriate for the situation, or at the very least won't be mincing her words during the performance.

Besides, all right wing protests have corporate sponsorship (and are essentially manufactured) by Fox.
That was pretty terrific. Thank you, Mr President.
It most definitely was!!
"the march for what they call 'gay marriage'"
What else is there to call it?
I thought "It is a privilege to be here tonight to open for Lady Gaga" was funny.
Like a line Bruce Vilanch would write for him.
"the march for what they call 'gay marriage'"
"What else is there to call it?"
Marriage.

We'll see how much coverage the March gets today. I would expect CNN to give it good coverage. Anderson Cooper, are you there live on the street?

I agree with Barney Frank. This march is a waste of time.
A lot of people think Barney's a waste of time.
Aren't you clever.
Ya gotta love the lavender background.
