Posted: 11/3/04 at 7:23pmanyone here bought the new Tears for Fears 'reunion' CD? It snuck into the marketplace, but no one seems to be aware of it. It's my choice for best album of the year, but does anyone even remember them, or am i just showing my age *sigh*?

Sowing the Seeds Of Love..or whatever it's called..their best work. The rest...ehhhh.
But Oletta Adams is the back up singer on Seeds that you hear jamming at the end.

I actually love the first two albums, loved them then, love them still. I thought they started to lose it by "Woman in Chains," which has Oletta singing right up front, not just the background. I hated the pretentiousness of Curt and Roland thanking Oletta "for validating our soul." Jeez, you WISH, white boys.
I tried listening to the new album via the premium Napster service, but I shut it off half way through the first song.
