Okay, I have to bring this up, and for several reasons. A: I was obsessed with this thing. B: It's frikin' hilarious and C: The list of Broadway vets associated with this tour keeps getting bigger.
Here is what I know.
The tour was a live rock 'n' roll show featuring the ninja turtles and several other characters from the hit kids TV show as a rock band. It began its tour at Radio City Music Hall in September 1990 and continued to tour the county through the end of 1991.
The lights were designed by Peggy Eisenhower and Jules Fisher.
The sets were by Eugene Lee
and the choreography was by Patti Colombo
all names associated with the Broadway stage.
It was filmed at Radio City Music Hall, played on Pey-Per-View and later released on VHS through 1993.
Granted I was young and in love with the ninja turtles so obviously a Broadway style concert was right up my alley, but did anyone else here ever see it??? lol. I have a copy of it on tape from when it was no pay-per-view and I also just bought a copy used from Amazon.com. The memories I have associated with this tour is just sad. I watched it so many times as a kid I memorized every line. Anyway, now that I know all these people were involved with it - it makes it THAT much more interesting... please tell me someone else here saw it...

I'm speechless!!!
I know, I know... it's not exactly great theatre, but the kids seemed to love it. I knew Patti Colombo was associated with it, but I just found out today about Peggy Eisenhower, Jules Fisher and Eugene Lee... and I just can't believe these people worked on it.

I'm gonna try and find a cast list to see if any of us know anybody... it's too funny.

GREAT!
Ronn K. Smith was in the 1996 "Inherit the Wind".
Beau Allen was in the original "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas".
Mark Enis was in the 1987 "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940"...
And rounding out the footclan we have John Bantay in the 1996 "Hello Dolly" and the 1998 "The King and I"...
Gregory Butler was in "Raggedy Ann" and he is also currently in "Chicago" playing Fred Casely. In fact, he's been with the show since 1996.

YEAH!!! Thank you, niiiiiice research work!
Okay, now, I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Sherri Scott changed her name to Sherrie Rene Scott and is the same Sherrie Rene Scott that went on to do "Tommy", "Grease!" (revival), "Rent", "Aida" and will also be in the upcoming "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"... can someone confirm that this is the same person???
Okay, so it's not the same person. She spells it Sherie, not Sherri or Sherrie. This is confusing. So what happened to Sheri??? lol.
Here is a site where you can download the studio recordings of some of the songs from the show. Since they didn't record all the songs we're still missing "I Hate Music" and the ever so touching "Follow Your Heart".
