Things are not well in McCain land:
"She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," this McCain adviser said. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.

Palin and conservatives are looking beyond McCain. They never liked him, and they're looking to her to lead the party into the future.
She's the ticket, not McCain.

"She definitely is going to be the most popular Republican in this country when this thing is over."
That shows how dire things are for Republicans are about now.

Posted: 10/27/08 at 1:37pmHonestly, I thin if McCain had chosen anyone other than Palin as his VP pick, she would be a more dangerous candidate in 2012. Throwing her into this debacle has done more harm than good to her long-term national office chances. Her life story is compelling, her charisma is undeniable. She just wasn't ready to be thrust into the national limelight at this time.

i love anonynmous sources. why just the other day an anonymous source within the obama camp emailed me the following:
"get ready, jackbooted fascist, because we are making an enemies list that makes milhouse look like a piker! we're gonna bankrupt this country and start a civil war that ensures that the united states is never again a force on the international stage. when we're done, the united states will be nothing but failed experiment in the history of the western hemisphere. keep up your mouthiness and you'll be the patsy when obama is martyred for the cause. long live the revolution!"
