I just do not understand how the people of Florida aren't rioting in the streets, knowing this idiot is spending their tax dollars on torturing Michael Schiavo.

One more reason not to spend my money in Florida.

Only a matter of weeks before this grave becomes a mecca, the site of pilgrimage and hysteria. Look for the face of Barbara Bush to appear mysteriously in the mowed lawn, as in SIGNS, within weeks.

About the tombstone: Personally, I think Michael Schiavo is just going out of his way to antagonize the Schindlers. Not that I like them a whole lot, but honestly, the poor woman is dead. Can't they just leave her alone now?

That is so wrong. I agree with Rose. He's just trying to upset people now. I don't care how much **** he went though with the family, at least have the decency to tell the family you're burrying their daughter.
To say she died in 1990 is also very wrong. I don't care if someone is being kept alive with a feeding tube, IV hydration, ventalator, resperator, tracheostomy, TPN, pacemaker, WHATEVER! They're still alive.

Considering everything the parents have done to him, I think Michael Schiavo has acted fine. I think the tombstone is appropriate and he is within his right as the husband of Terri to have it say what it says. Considering everything those parents have done to him, defaming him every chance they get, I would support him if he chose to bury her in an undisclosed location and didn't tell the parents. They truly make me sick. And don't get me started on all of the governmental interference. Michael has nothing to apologize for. The parents should be held accountable for their deplorable actions.

Blah. I think the man should go on the news and attack them the way he was attacked.
But guess what? He obviously had a lot more class than to do press conference after press conference with a monk in tow trying to paint "The opposition" as an amoral evildoer.
So put whatever the hell you want on the tombstone, Michael. She was your wife and you obviously cared for her a lot more than her selfish parents.

I dsagree AbbaRabbit - what he did was so so right. The family has acted horribly and now they are getting what they deserve.
