Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.

That was my every Saturday during high school. Boy, do I miss it! I'm actually disappointed in A&M..they lost by half a second. Poor guys.

There is a G+L team here. Its pretty good. I ought to know. I'm one of the coaches.
Indeed, there are many G+L teams across the US and the globe. Go into www.igla.org for a list.
Its never too late to swim again.

Come to the practices first. I'm quite serious. Here I am, the Gay Recruiter. The one your parents worried about.
All levels are most welcome. Also all ages. And this goes for any G+L team.
All we ask is a depth of commitment.
Like everything, quality comes with practice. But you can remain the fantasizer or become the fantasizee. Not bad at all.
As a kid, I was the biggest sissy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Now I am a competitive swimmer and a coach. if I can do it so can anyone. Who knew?
See you at the pool? You'll have a good time.

It is one of the perks of being on the team. The scenery can be delicious.
Of course after the first half hour once you realize that everybody is essentially naked and wet, it becomes like any other social event.

I am not young, not thinny thin, not even all that fast. However I am fabulous once I get going.

Oh, WOSQ, I was just joking. If I were going to play a sport, it'd be ice hockey, but the last time I took a class to learn to play, I pretty much just learned that I can't skate worth a damn.

i had a friend on the Chicago gay swim team for a while, and went to some of the parties. It's a great group, and very easy on the eye.
Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.

I have to say that this thread totally made my day (which is a good thing seeing I just got out of test). Too bad I missed seeing it. I am at TAMU and I didn't go 
I really should start going...Swimming and diving is one of the few things we are still good at, so I am disappointed we lost too
