I just caught an update on this on PBS and it absolutely blows my mind is this? Why is this group of rich white privileged men and women with guns, not being treated like the terrorists that they are? They took over a Federal outpost while it was closed. Two of the men are due to go back to jail tomorrow, for convicted arson crimes. If this were Black Americans with guns in Baltimore or Chicago the blood would run deep on the streets! The FBI, Homeland security, local law enforcement.... where are they and who is deciding there can be a peaceful outcome? Good God, happy new tear! (that's not a typo).

They want a peaceful solution.

Why the kid-gloves? These are felons who have refused their sentence (of going to jail) and have illegally barricaded a federal office.

The latest headline says the FBI is now investigating.

I'm all for due process, but really what's to investigate?

They skipped out on their jail sentence and commandeered a federal building.

I think they must have lined some pockets in DC based on the lack of action, despite their anti-government rhetoric.

These guys are wealthy ranchers? I find that hard to believe, sources please. Wouldn't these guys look even dumber if they just shut off the place and waited them out. The news coverage has been light on this as it should be.

Exactly! Instead of paying taxes he forms militias and denies the goverment's powers and basically STEALS from tax payers. If he doesn't pay taxes how can there be tax records? The beef industry here in the US (and abroad) is a multi billion dollar a year industry. I doubt there are any struggling ranchers in there ( unless they are of course poor cult members). Bundy and Son are not in anyway hurting.
