Schweet.

The dropped storyline that really pissed me off: Romano caught Morris smoking pot and then the helicopter fell on him before he could tell anyone! Morris is still there.

Laura Innes has gone on record as saying that they do not want storylines w the "old" castmembers. THAT is one of the reasons she is pursuing directing.
The soap opera stuff on all the med shows is frankly getting to me. I don't watch House anymore, or Grey's Anatomy as they are TOO far fetched for my bullsh*t tolerance. As an FYI- the 100% O2 is NOT good it exposed the premie to poss eye damage leading to blindness. ER usta have a policy of medical accuracy- long gone now I'm afraid.

Ha ha. I have read some of the things that Laura has said about them basically shelving the older actors. I mean, it sucks. Most of the shows have twenty somethings in lead roles. I would love to see shows with some great forty something actors in love stories.

Then there are is my other opinion as to why Kerry has no storyline:
Lesbians have to all be young and very sexy to male viewers. They have to look like the chicks on the L Word. The only truly non fem character on that show is a F2M transsexual. (Shane doesn't count because she is androgynous, young and beautiful.)

See, Kerry isn't a hose beast. She is sweet and comforting. :P
I need some joy in this season. It's like Debbie Downer has been writing this show.

Ever since George Clooney and Julia Marguillies (sp I know) didn't bother to show up at Mark's funeral, I have been a but disappointed with the realism the show has displayed. That and killing Romano with a helicopter >.>

Did anyone else think that the ending last night--Abby and Kovac bringing little Joe home--was highly unrealistic? He's a preemie, and he just had major surgery. There's no way they would have him home already. He would still be in the NICU!

Or were my eyes playing tricks on me? Was she holding him, but still in the hospital?

There was a "Two Weeks Later" title. It was realistic. That is why Luka said that Abby wasn't ready to come out yet. They wanted the viewer to think that the baby had died. In truth, he hadn't been home long and Abby wasn't ready to leave him with someone else.

Thanks Jersy Girl--apparently I looked away from the TV at an inopportune moment! I never saw the "Two Weeks Later".

Yeah, it was pretty fast. That's why Stamos was an intern at that point.

I hope that Kerry being demoted will allow for her to be in the ER more.

I thought the baby was going to die (cause really, didn't we already do the preemie baby storyline?) all along. Then when Luka kept saying Abby wasn't ready to come out I had my doubts . . . dead baby or tricky sotry line? As soon as I saw the empty crib I yelled, "The baby lived! He's in Abby's arms!" My dad was so mad that I spoiled it, lol.

It was nice, yet kind of odd, to see Kerry being so maternal toward Sam. Poor girl definitely needed a hug and a friend . . . was nice Kerry was there for her.
"I wrote a book: "How to Be Popular". Now I've put together a top ten list of how to help you: -Elphie, everyday... shower. I mean, who knows? Maybe some of that green is gonna come off! -Deodorant Elphie. No body likes a stinky witch! -I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that. -Clean underclothes. That's all I'm gonna say. -Look at your posture. That's no way to be popular! -Bed made, room straightened. We've done that. -Colors blended. I just watched it on my DVR and Sally Field was brilliant, once again. It was sad to see her leave at the end of the episode. I was hoping she would stick around for a few episodes even though she has a regular show now. I hope she comes back. And next week they will have Frasier's father in drag and John Stamos has joined full time as an intern.

Every time I try to watch this show I can't make it 10 minutes without flipping the channel. Not only has ER jumped the shark, but the shark ate it, crapped it out and spread it all over old ER's grave. I'm so sad that my former favorite show has become a teen drama starring John Stamos and Busy Phillips.
