When I was 13, my hair was almost exactly like this, entirely shaved except for the bangs, which were gelled heavily, parted, and separated into two long strands resembling antennas that pointed down. My grandmother called it my "lobster 'do."

Makes me feel a little better about my school photos. There like a collection of the opening credits to Freaks & Geeks. In one, I overdid the raising of my chin- though still maintained precise eye contact with the camera.
