I think its funny in the trailer where he is getting his chest waxed and he screams "Holy Kelly Clarkson" I just crack up.

It was stupid funny, I liked it better than Wedding Crashers (which died for me once the love story kicked in)
Plus this movie has Catherine Keener (who at 45 has the body of a 25 yr old).

If you really want to help the American theater, don't be an actress, dahling. Be an audience..... Don't be taken in by the guff that critics are killing the theater. Commonly they sin on the side of enthusiasm. Too often they give their blessing to trash... Tallulah Bankhead

Usually, I don't go for the brain-cells-sucking movies, but this was hilarious. It was full of nudity and (obviously) uncouth jokes and it was brilliant.

Hehe, I'm still giggling.

Bernadette comes in towards the end, very small part, just a worker/love interest for a character... she says maybe two or three lines tops

Just saw this and I must say that I haven't laughed so hard during a movie since The Life Aquatic. W00T!

The fact that it made fun of the obscure Fran Drescher/Timothy Dalton comedy "Beautician and the Beast" within the first 10 minutes already put it in my cool book.

anytime Beacon.... but, this movie has made me so excited about the Get Smart remake, it is really inspired casting to have Steve Carell in the main role there... ooh I cannot wait...

-I loved that reference too! I was just sitting there like... "Somebody else saw that movie?!?" lol

But I actually really liked this movie alot more than I thought I was going to. Even though I adore Steve Carrell, I didn't have the highest expectations for this one. However, Carrell completely stole my heart in this. He played the character so genuinely. I actually cared about this guy! He's a brilliant comedian (Brick Tamland in Anchorman is definetly one of my favorite comedic performances ever!), but also a fine actor. Catherine Keener was a lovely casting choice, who really helped elevate the movie. Paul Rudd also had an entertaining supporting role. Although I will agree that it did start to drag, I will give it a solid B+ and a strong recommendation to anyone who can get past a little bit of crass humor to see the heart this film has.

... and OMG the END CREDITS may have been the funniest part of the movie!
