re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

everyone who has seen this movie loves it. Supposedly there have been quite a few sneak previews of it. Anyways, I am going on opening night...can't wait to see the producers trailer!

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

Steve Carell is hysterical but I thought some clips of the film I saw on Late Night shows looked crappy, but maybe they didn't show enough of it. Still seeing it for Carell (IMO, one of the funniest men alive.)

I loved this movie. If you thought Wedding Crashers was funny, just wait...

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

I wanna see it. I liked Wedding Crashers..despite all the topless women scenes..
I LOVED the brother in Wedding Crashers..I forgot his name, he was my fav!
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

Hm. I just don't know.

I never know if it's an American opening night, or if it applies to us Canadians as well.

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

did anyone else see this? I thought it was absolutely FANTASTIC, Steve Carell pretty much made my life... I hope it does really well box office wise...

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

The previews make it look like the unfunniest movie ever made.

I completely agree, Rath. I didn't even crack a smile at the trailer.

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

It doesn't look good -- yet, my friend (who tends to share the same views as me on movies) said it was good.

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

I agree, it doesn't LOOK good, but so far I've heard some fairly positive things about it (and not just from this thread).

Plus, I heard that The Producers trailer might be on it. So it's worth a shot.

re: The 40 Year Old Virgin

I saw it last night much better than WC. However, there was no Producers preview.
