Oh, dear God. Did anyone else see this? Nerve.com's screengrab did a rundown:
THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY
Great year for summer flicks:
Foul Play
The Swarm
Grease
Heaven Can Wait
Hooper
Oh, my. THE SWARM...I have been dying to see that since I was a kid.
The Swarm is wonderfully bad. The scene on the train is classic.
Wow...that brought back memories. I remember seeing Thank God It's Friday in the theater.
I liked The Swarm so much when I was a kid, I read the novel on which it was based. I had the wonderful movie tie-in paperback edition with the photos in the middle that used to be so popular.

This may not be the best movie ever made, but it did create a catchphrase that is still in use today. TGIF!!
TGIF is the kind of movie someone needs to force Roscoe to watch.
But here are some SWARM quotes
we bought the DVD for 3.99 at Rite Aid b/c Donna Summer was in it.
It's a classic in our house!
SWARM.....I was always very upset whenever I saw Slim Pickens come to take away the body of his son.

Olivia is worried, y'all.

I know a challenge when I see one, Borstal. TGIF is now at the top of my Netflix queue.
Unless I decide to watch it on my computer. Anyone do that via Netflix?
Awright Roscoe, but you've been warned: It's worse than CHICAGO.

Borstal, I'll be the judge of that!!
But Borstal, is it worse than Moulin Rouge?
Well, it isn't worse than SGT. PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND.
Nothing is. I just watched that again last weekend (okay, skimmed through it)... and the finale has crazy people in it:
Carol Channing
Dame Edna
Chita Rivera
Gwen Verdon
Peter Allen
Keith Carradine
Yvonne Elliman
Leif Garrett
Tina Turner
Frankie Va
It's a 1978 orgy of OMG!
