Jennifer Love Hewitt as Audrey Hepburn, bad.
Jennifer Love Hewitt as Nancy Sinatra, even worse.

JLH as Audrey Hepburn was indeed insulting. The only thing worse than her casting was her horrible, horrible accent. Eeek!
I've always thought they should have cast Natalie Portman.

.....What is this with casting her as perfectly amazing women?? She doesn't even look remotley like either of them!
EDIT: Natalie Portman..yes that I can see.....

Well the cating directors responsible must have their heads up. . .
'cuz i would never think of casting the same actress to play either one especially when they look nothing alike.

Posted: 8/23/05 at 1:50pmI like JLH, but I avoided this movie because it was such terrible miscasting. On the other hand, the girl has guts. She knew she was gonna get slammed and she went for it anyway.

I wish all children would be made to watch THE NUN'S STORY.
It would be easier to maneuver on the downtown sidewalks.

Nowhere NEAR as bad as the Natalie Wood movie! God - was that awful!
..and the girl looked more like Heather Mattarazzo than Natalie Wood!

Yes Eric played Mel Ferrer.
That Natalie Wood movie was a piece of cr@p. Justine Waddell was horrible.

She came off like Nat's retarded sister Drushenka!
.... just no ability, no charm and if Nat was a paragon of two things, it was taking limited ability. mixing it with charm and getting 3 Oscar nominations because of it (one close call with "Splendor in the Grass" - she was "this " close to getting it - so says old sooth sayers!!) That bathtub scene would have one anyone an Oscar today much like Monroe's "Black magic number" in Bus Stop. would have cinched an Oscar had it been 1999..

Posted: 8/28/05 at 9:32pmI think it's hilarious that Matt Settle played Warren Beatty in The Mystery of Natalie Wood. He looks and sounds exactly like him.

Matt Settle who played Warren Beatty and Nathalie Roy who played Lana Wood looked very much like the people they were portraying. Too bad Justine didn't look or sound like Natalie Wood at all.
Even Michael Weatherly was passable as Robert Wagner.
The movie sucked anyway.

Love is obsessed with Hepburn.
I hate the bio's of people where there's enough footage of them to do a decent documentary.
I remember reading an interview with Jodie Foster around the time of the "Sabrina" remake and the interviewer asked her why she passed on the role and she remarked something to the effect of "you're crazy, who would want to try and step in Hepburn's shoes".
As for Natalie Portman being the closest to Hepburn. NO WAY. Nobody is even close. Nor should they be.
