Can't take my eyes off Judy even when Martha Raye is clowning around (brilliantly) through their rehearsal of the Glenn Miller Medley.

Get the Easter Parade DVD with the extras - there is a wonderful segment of outtakes from the filming of Mr. Monotony - she never misses a beat and for each of many, many takes, she is always flawless. It's a wonderful little slice of history on that DVD.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I can never take my eyes off her no matter who else is around. She's beyond magnetic. Magical!

I love her. She's kind of a family favorite, so I've practically grown up knowing her life story. I have a friend who looks just like her, but hardly knows who she is. Life is unfair.

"i just sort of parked it against the inside of mouth with my tongue and went on with the song. i had a little extra vibrato that night."

Best ever. Really. Is there anyone who was as much as a triple threat as she? Sing, Act, Dance-- all as good as anyone. The best.

How fast can you say "You're a pretty lady"?

Oops--that was the brilliance of Martha Raye...

the only brilliant thing Judy garland ever did was to die so she would not see what a freak her daughter became.

Her death was the flame that initiated the Stonewall riots.

Judy Garland died to set us free.
