Has anybody seen this movie?
I saw it last night. It's one of the best movies of the year. And not to mention, it really has an all-star cast. Sarah Jessica, Diane Keaton, Claire Danes.
I'd be interested to see what you guys thought about this movie. I loved it!

pab,
I don't give a damn. I made my own thread. Get over it. And stop trying to constantly correct people.

Don't be such an ass. I was only pointing out that other people have seen it and you can see their opinions in that thread. After all you said "I'd be interested to see what you guys thought about this movie."

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard that there was some tragic twist that ruined the entire thing.

And if I have to watch Mrs Parker be all uptight for two hours, I'm gonna be pissed.

Just saw it and loved it. Performances are great across the board, and it is the most realistic portrayal of a dysfunctional family that I've seen in a long time - not over-the-top like so many movies portray them. Perfect casting with Rachel McAdams as Diane Keaton's daughter - they really look so much alike. Claire Danes is beautiful and really as wonderful as ever, and the whole cast shines. I laughed out loud and cried several times - it's a real "owner" for my list of favs.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

I saw it the other day and thought it was really good. I couldn't watch like three minutes of it though, cause Judy Garland scares the sh*t outa me and they played her singing a song, don't remember which one though..

in the final scene in the film, Rachel looks so much like Keaton...it is really superb casting.

I saw this fil yesterday and found myself laughing as well as crying. It was comedic and very poignant at the same time. The casting was about the best I have eveer seen in a long time. However, Sarah Jessica Parker was brilliant...AHEM AHEM AHEM.

I usta have a friend that did that little throat clearing thing.Very twitchy.
I certainly enjoyed it but found myself thinking so many times of"The Philadelphia Story" esp w the "sleeping" error. ALTHO- when those characters drank thay had the decency to have hangovers!!

Just saw the movie today. If they gave an Oscar for best ensemble, this movie would win hands down! Not a bad performance in the bunch. This is truly one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I fear that with such a strong group of actors and no clear-cut "lead" that Oscar will just ignore this fine film. At the very least, the screenplay deserves a nod.
