Is it an overused audition song? I may use it for future auditions.

Aw, it's such a pretty song, and I would think that it'd be a good choice for an audition.
I think it's a very good choice. Not often heard at auditions. And just a nice song.
yea i have sung this song before it is so pretty, and its not used too often, so go for it and good luck!

Is it really not used that often? I thought it was. Maybe I'm wrong. I sang it a long time ago. It's very pretty.
would you guys say that songs from this show are mostly ok for auditions? or are there some to stay away from?
I think it depends some on your location, cathy. I love "Hold On" and I can get away with doing it here in South Dakota. But when I attend auditions in bigger areas, I have been told to stay away from it, and most songs from this show.
But as far as TGIMTB goes, you're a young girl aren't you Gav? From my experience casting directors would rather you sing something age appropriate even if it is a little over done. There aren't many solos for children/young teens out there, so of course when they are auditioning young people they are going to hear the same songs over and over.
(-this is coming from the girl, who at the age of five, practiced singing Be Kind to Your Parents for an A Christmas Carol audition, but two seconds after entering the audition room, decided that an acapella rendition of You've Gotta Have A Gimmick was a much better choice.)

Yep, I'm 12, nsvm. I'm turning 13 on January 13th of next year. *cough*
Thanks for all the advice, everyone!
I think it's a great song. If I had the sheet music I think I would use it even though I'm not 12 anymore. It's really a great song and I don't think you'd get into trouble for doing it at an audition.
