Okay, can I just say how thrilled I was to see this post? I love this movie, though I take a lot of crap from my movie-snob friends for it. I think Maureen Teefy is adorable, and LOVED (!) the Score Tonight sequence. Bowling and dancing, now thats brilliant.

Think Michelle Pfieffer still lists this on her resume?:)

Pfeiffer doesn't need a resume.

I wish my time like that would come when I no longer need one of those.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

The choreography makes the movie work? I had no idea the movie actually worked.

As for Katey Sagal's sisters, Liz and Jean, they were actually famous long before she was - they had their own sitcom called Double Trouble in the early 80's. Very cute. They work in production now - you'll see their names in the credits of tv shows.

What luck! Switched channels just in time for "Cool Rider"!

if "xanadu" can be turned into a good broadway show - then why not "grease 2"? they are movies cut from the same cheesy 80s cloth.

imagine jane krakowski as paulette and sara gettlefinger as stephanie.

I loved Maxwell Caulfield. So hott!

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

Loved Maxwell Caulfield too....I think something on Broadway would work. Like Xanadu, Grease 2 may have not been a critic favorite, but they both have a lot of loyal fans. Personally, I like the music in Grease 2 better than Grease. But that's just me- I'm probably in the minority with this one.

I don't own Grease on DVD. But I own Grease 2.

I starred in a short film called Magnetic Personality. Check it out!

I think there's one that's got more recent postings in it. This thread was like a trip down memory lane.

Grease 2 is the sh*t.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

With the success of Xanadu on Broadway, Grease 2 should be the production currently on stage..not the amateur version of Grease currently on stage. I have seen high school productions of Grease that were better.

Grease 2 rocks!
