I am such a Remus Lupin fangirl, it's disgusting. I always fall for those angsty, hurting characters. re: The Harry Potter Thread

I'm such a Harry Potter dork. I was one of those geeks in full Hogwarts uniform (that I made myself) at the OotP release and PoA premiere.
I like the movies, but the last movie really pissed me off. While the tone of it felt better than the first two, they got so much wrong, especially with Ron. Ron Weasley IS NOT a wuss! He's every bit as brave as Harry, maybe more so. I'm pretty sure I swore out loud in the theater when they gave Hermione his best line in PoA ("If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us too!") I loved Gary Oldman as Sirius, but my choice for Lupin was always Colin Firth. Mmm...that would be one werewolf bite I wouldn't mind getting!

I'm another Lupin fan. But, I dont think he's hot...just sweet.

The 3rd book is my favorite but the 3rd movie is definitely not. It was good but I was disappointed by it. I just felt like the director wasted a lot of time (cut to- Whomping Willow for the 57th time). I am glad he didnt screw over the character of Lupin to much. McGonnagal on the other hand got majorly shafted.

not to put a damper on the party or anything, but am I really the only person who has NOT been captivated by these books!? lol I just can't get into it. I've read the first four books, been dragged to all the movies, and I'm still not a fan. Which is weird, considering how obsessive my personality is, Harry Potter should be right up my alley, but it's not. I feel like suc han outcast!! re: The Harry Potter Thread

Honestly, that is odd to me. I have never met a person that has read the books and not liked them. Actually, I dont know anyone that hasn't read around the first 20 pages and got instantly sucked in and read them all incredibly fast.

But, everyone is different. I am sure there are somethings I dont like that most other people do. What kind of books do you normally get into?

Sorry I'm bringing up this thread from so long ago. Anyone check out the pics of Cedric Diggory from the next movie? He is so ugly (sorry)!

If you want to view 1 through 9, just substitute the 5 with one of those numbers.
