I read the new EW magazine last night and someone wrote that the Historian was one of the best books in 2005. I have to disagree. I read it all (I belive its a sin not to finish what one has started.) and I want my 600 pages back.
Anyone else hate this book? I see it in the bookstores and I just want to throw them away so people won't be tempted to buy it.

Posted: 1/4/06 at 5:25pmCount me in. Unlike you, if a book isn't doing it for me, I am not about to waste my time finishing it. I got a third of the way through this book, was bored beyond all measure so I gave up. Great idea, that was tediously executed.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
